What to do if you miss ...
-
a lecture - watch the posted video on Canvas, check the Announcements on
Canvas and on the class web page. Turn in the attendance quiz on Canvas.
If you have a documented
excuse as described in the attendance policy,
contact Dr. Keen within one week of your absence with your documentation.
-
a lab session - the points for the team work
cannot be made up unless you have a documented, excused absence.
If you have an excuse, make sure you contact Dr. Keen
within one week.
- a homework deadline - if you turn the homework in by
9 am the next morning after the deadline, you can get up to half the
points the homework is worth. After 9 am, it is a zero.
If you have a documented excuse for being late, contact Dr. Keen immediately.
-
a test (lab or lecture) - if you know ahead of time you must miss a test,
contact Dr. Keen and make arrangements for
an alternate time. If circumstances
force you to miss an exam unexpectedly, you MUST contact
Dr. Keen within a week after the test,
in order to have a chance to be allowed to make the exam up.
-
a deadline on an assignment - see the late policy.
Programs are accepted up to 5 days late, with penalty.
