About Me:

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science and Software Engineering at Miami University interested in using the publicly available images on the Internet to improve our understanding of the world. I am mainly working on the area of computer vision, and remote sensing. I received my Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Kentucky under the direction of Dr. Nathan Jacobs. My dissertation is on learning to map the visual and auditory attributes from overhead imagery and constructing dense maps of these attributes on a global scale. I obtained my master’s degree in Computer Science from IUPUI and I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science from IUG in 2006.
