Here in the genitive case, as in various grammarians who cite it with the nominative. Perhaps the present entry simply reflects the grammars; alternatively it has been generated by the fact that there was a Xenion who was an hellenistic-era historian of Crete (FGrH 460: fifteen short fragments, mainly toponyms picked up by
Stephanus of
Byzantium).
