The headword, though otherwise unattested, presumably refers to Taricheai, a.k.a. Magdala, in present-day Israel: Barrington Atlas Map 69 grid C4. (There were, however, similarly-named places on the coast of N Africa; and cf. the connection with dried or salted fish, tau 121, tau 124).
