The primary headword, present indicative or subjunctive active third person plural of the verb spaqa/w (cf. sigma 898, and more generally sigma 899), is evidently extracted from a literary source; perhaps Lucian, Gallus 29 (cf. scholia ad loc. for similar glossing).
