The headword sfada/zontes is the present active participle, masculine nominative plural, of sfada/zw (sigma 1706, sigma 1708 -- though note the view of Herodian the grammarian that it should be spelled sfada/|zw). It must be quoted from somewhere; extant possibilities, all late, include ones in Agathias and (favored by Theodoridis) Palladius.
