Daniel 3.21, 3.94 in Theodotion's version and in LXX. Other than in these biblical texts the word appears only -- outside lexicography -- in Antiphanes fr. 201 Kock = 199 Kassel-Austin (cited by Pollux 7.59, 10.168).
The word sara/bara came from Persian into Aramaic, and from there into Greek; it was eventually loaned from Aramaic into Arabic too.
