The headword is future indicative active, first person singular, of pari/hmi. (It is glossed here with an aorist subjunctive verb; this might be a result of misunderstanding or miscopying.) The word is copiously attested, in many genres, from the classical period onwards, beginning with Sophocles, Euripides, Antiphon and Aristophanes, but note especially Aristophanes, Knights 340, where the scholia gloss it with a word that is similar-looking to the present gloss: paraxwrh/sw ('I will yield').
