Same or similar entry in other lexica (references at Photius pi283 Theodoridis), including Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon, but here misleadingly punctuated. The Suda's two-word headword phrase, in the accusative plural, should actually be simply 'slanting', with 'rocks' as part of the gloss. See the scholia to Homer, Odyssey 5.418, where the phrase h)i+o/nas te paraplh=gas ("and slanting beaches") occurs.
