puo/n, which is either the accusative form of the current headword (with a different accent) or a neuter nominative/accusative variant. (Theodoridis presents it as non-comittal
*PUON.) Consequently, commentary on the
Aristophanes passage quoted (see note 1 below) is probably not the source of this entry -- though it may have inspired the form of the lemma -- and the glossing shows confusion with
pi 3178 (q.v.).
