That said, the entry presents multiple problems as it stands. First and foremost, paragge/llwn does not lend itself readily to the senses ascribed to it here; and the (unidentifiable) quotation designed to illustrate it seems to be corrupt. (Adler's apparatus notes a lacuna, in ms F, after the first toi=s, as well as other variants.)
