The headword is a neuter singular noun, nominative or accusative. Latte in his edition of Hesychius connects this lemma with Gregory of Nazianzus, Epistle 202, where the headword appears. (Adler also cites Wentzel as citing a scholion to Gregory that corroborates the association.)
