parabu/w, feminine nominative singular. It must be quoted from somewhere -- very probably from
Aristophanes of
Byzantium's remarks (transmitted by several later writers: Theodoridis specifies Basil of
Caesarea PG 29.193a) about a she-bear treating her wounds in this way.
