Probably a conflation of two entries in the Suda's source(s). In
Hesychius epsilon3832 we find
proskunei=: prospi/ptei ('kow-tows: falls towards') and in epsilon3833
proskurei=: proseggi/zei ('arrives at: approaches'). In other words the Suda presents here the headword of the first entry with the gloss of the second. As Latte notes, the second entry (= also
Synagoge epsilon696) probably derives from commentary to
Aeschylus,
Choephoroi 13, where that entry's headword occurs. The headword of the present entry is present indicative active, third person singular, of
