pota/omai (frequentative of
pe/tomai). Unless it simply derives from
Hesychius' accusative plural, it must be quoted from somewhere: the likeliest options are Homeric
Hymn to Hermes 558 and
Aristophanes,
Peace 80, but see also Lucian,
Podagra 281.
