Translation: Two sorts of Panathenaia were held at 
Athens, one every year, the other on a five-year cycle,[1] which they called the Great [Panathenaia]. The first to hold the festival was Erichthonios the son of Hephaistos.[2] The Panathenaia were previously called the Athenaia.
