Eudemus 171.23 Niese. The gloss is clearly a misunderstanding. Kuster (cited by Adler) suggests that it is inspired by the description of the dung-beetle in 
Aristophanes, 
Peace 38, as "foul-smelling and gluttonous" (
ka/kosmon kai\ boro/n), though it could just as easily be a misapprehension of the paradox in the riddle itself (foul-smelling/sweet vs. pleasant/unpleasant).
