Greek Anthology 6.10.1 (attributed to Antipater), an inscription, addressed to Athena, on an altar built by one
Seleucus; cf. Gow and Page vol. I (36-37) and vol. II (50-51). Scholars are divided on the attribution of this epigram, with a number of classicists ascribing it to Antipater of Sidon (cf. vol. II, 50). However, Gow and Page associate (vol. II, 50) this epigram with
Greek Anthology 11.23, known to be authored by Antipater of Thessalonica, and addressed to a certain
Seleucus; they therefore assume that this epigram's author is the Thessalonian too (ibid.).
