tai=s dianoi/ais. As regards the present entry, it is evidently the accusative singular -- here usurping what in other circumstances would have been a genitive -- that is quoted from somewhere; probably
Iliad 2.3, where the D
scholia gloss the phrase
kata\ fre/na with
kata\ th\n dia/noian.
