The headword, present participle (feminine nominative singular) of the verb falhria/w, is evidently quoted from somewhere. It is attested only here and, according to Adler, in the equivalent entry in the Ambrosian Lexicon (68), but cf. the neuter plural (of waves) in Homer, Iliad 13.799 (web address 1). The import of the present gloss is unclear.
