filo/zwos) it covers '
fond of one's life, with collat. sense of
cowardly', 'of patients in disease,
desirous of living', and 'of plants,
tenacious of life'; (b) with the 'creature'-etymology (properly spelled
filo/zw|os) its main meaning is '
