"Thus they began straightaway to take action after capture of those men, but the Athenians, doing well, were not at all willing to settle the dispute on equal terms".
[2] An approximation of Homer, Odyssey 3.226: w)= ge/ron, ou)/ pw tou=to e)/pos tele/esqai o)i+/w "O old man, in no way do I think that this word will be brought to completion." Modern editors (e.g. Allen; von der Mühll = TLG) tend to prefer to print ou)/ pw following the codices.
