Onesikritos of Astypalaia (C4 BCE; OCD4 Onesicritus; FGrH 134) wrote an encomiastic account of Alexander the Great (whom he had served as chief helmsman) supposedly modelled on the Kyroupaideia/Cyropaedia of Xenophon (xi 47). With the present entry cf. already alpha 3274.
