The transmitted headword horokomeion (i) is otherwise unattested, (ii) is out of alphabetical order, and (iii) has no obvious meaning. So -- as the Dutch scholar Lambert Bos (1670-1717) suggested -- it is best regarded as a corruption of horonomeion, an alternative name for a sundial (omega 199).
