This form of the headword adjective, *meilisiourgi/s, occurs only here. It is perhaps (as August Meineke suggested) a corruption of *milhsiourgh/s, attested in a fragment of Critias [kappa 2448] as applying to a couch and a chair; and LSJ s.v. adds epigraphical instances.
