[Meaning] sharing in.
*meteilhxo/ta: metalabo/nta.
Comparably, according to Adler, in the
Ambrosian Lexicon (531). The nominative/accusative neuter plural or masculine accusative singular of the perfect active participle of
metalagxa/nw (
mu 698,
mu 780, cf.
mu 699) is glossed by the same grammatical form of the aorist active participle of
metalamba/nw. The headword (presumably quoted from somewhere) is used in philosophy in the neuter plural for things sharing the properties of something else (e.g.
Proclus,
Commentary on Plato's Timaeus 1.156.18, 449.4) and is therefore properly glossed in this sense.
