Same or very similar entry (the glossing phrase is sometimes 'between the two shoulders') in other lexica: see the references at Photius mu338 Theodoridis, where the editor prints the same headword as the Suda, genitive plural metafre/nwn, but obelizes it, declaring (justifiably) that its correct reading is meta/frenon as in the Etymologicum Genuinum and the D scholia to Homer, Iliad 2.265 (meta/frenon ... kai\ w)/mw).
