The headword is given in the accusative plural, and must be quoted from somewhere. Extant possibilities include Artemidorus 4.11, Greek Anthology 9.622 ("and if horniness moves you towards wanton women for hire, you'll take and not give when you bathe there"), and -- regarded as the source of the present entry: see below -- Gregory of Nazianzus, Moral Poems col. 903: "for our law is to not even look at wanton women".
