Translation: A proper name. And [sc. there is] an oracle [sc. to the effect that Myskellos should found a city where 'Zeus] ought to rain from a clear sky'. [Meaning] where rain out of a clear sky would overtake him. [Myskellos] never imagined that a city would be founded by him, on account of the oracle's impossibility. But when he arrived in Italy and did not know where to place the foundation [he saw] his concubine weeping, lamenting the wanderings, and in a certain way her tears are brought from the clear sky. For this was proclaimed to be in accordance with Myskellos' oracles. And with the decision to understand the oracle agreed upon, right there he founded the city.
