alpha 711. Confusingly, the 'place in
Iberia', inland from Gades/Cadiz, is Ligustine, associated with the Ligustinus Lacus or Bay of Ligustine to the north (Barrington Atlas Map 26 grids D5 and D4 respectively), whereas the Ligusticum Mare lies off Liguria, i.e. what is nowadays NE Italy (Map 16).
