A nonsense-verb in Aristophanes, Wasps 911 (web address 1). This whole scene (891-1008) is a mock-prosecution of "Labes" (= the general Laches), by his enemy Dog (= Kleon: kappa 1731), for stealing and eating a Sicilian cheese. The Athenians had campaigned in Sicily between 427 and 424 BCE (just a few years before Wasps was staged), and Thucydides 4.65 records the trial and conviction, on bribe-taking charges, of the three generals who had been in command at the end. Laches had served earlier (427 and 426), but evidently there was still some comic mileage in such a charge where he was concerned.
