The headword is in the accusative case of the noun ktei/s (kappa 2515), presumably extracted from the quotation given. The reference to boxwood in the gloss would also seem to be specific to the quotation.

The Suda alters the epigram's wording a bit; the received text in fact reads to\n platu/n trixw=n saghneuth=ra, the adjective platu/n, in the masculine accusative singular, applying to kte/na at the end of the fifth line; thus, a broad boxwood comb; cf. Gow and Page (vol. I, 107).
