This genitive singular form must be quoted from somewhere, but not from an identifiable source. Artemidorus (3.15) and Hesychius (in definitions at kappa47 and kapp641) are the only other attestations of the word, none of them using the Suda's singular. LSJ defines the word as "stilt" (and the cognate kwlobaqristh/s as "one that goes on stilts"), but misleadingly as far as the present entry is concerned. The meaning "fetters, stocks" (foot restraint), shared with mediaeval kla/pa, is obvious from Artemidorus 3.15 (though the victim appears not to be immobilised, so they are closer to fetters): "to seem [in a dream] to be bound to the stocks means chains for the wicked; for kwlo/baqra are attached to the feet and alter one's walk; for the rest it means illness or exile for the same reasons".
