Same or similar entry in other lexica (see the references at Photius kappa586 Theodoridis), and cf. also several Homeric scholia, where forms of the headword verb occur (see e.g. Iliad 5.557 [web address 1] with scholion). The lexicographers' lemma kerai/+zei does not occur in Homer and must therefore come from somewhere else -- perhaps Oppian, Cynegetica 2.274 or 4.176.
