Herodotus 3.70-79 (web address 1), who advised Darius against the Scythian campaign (
Herodotus 4.132 and 134; web address 2 and web address 3). Also one of Darius's sons (
Herodotus 7.72; web address 4); and a Persian general in
Xenophon's
Anabasis (1.7.12, web address 5).
