Nominative plural. Attested only here in the form Gesatai, but perhaps [NF] the Gaisatai, apparently a warrior caste or mercenary group of Celts mentioned by
Polybius 2.22.1ff (22.1, 23.1, 28.3, 30.5, 34.2) as prominent in the battle of Telamon, 225 BCE. See Walbank 194-195.
