The present headword is its imperfect active, first person singular or third person plural; either way, presumably quoted from somewhere but attested only in lexica and grammars. Besides ps.-Zonaras, where the Suda entry is taken over unchanged, see Georgius Choeroboscus, de spiritibus 199.31: 'h)a/rizon, meaning they were talking about spring.' Here, therefore, is a fourth meaning to add to the three in LSJ.
