To judge by the gloss, the headword (which must be quoted from somewhere but is otherwise unattested) is regarded as a sigmatic aorist for e(/pw, which normally has the middle form e(/pomai with the thematic aorist e)spo/mhn; cf. epsilon 2091, epsilon 3194, epsilon 4056, epsilon 4058, epsilon 4071. There are two other verbs e(/pw, one meaning "I busy myself with", and the other meaning "boil" (see epsilon 4072).
