The headword is comparative of the adjective e)/ktupos, in the neuter nominative/accusative singular or masculine accusative singular. Already in Hesychius, with two glosses including this one. It must be quoted from somewhere (and might well, in context, be figurative); the extant possibilities are almost all in patristic writings.
