The headword is the neuter singular nominative/accusative superlative form of this adjective (for the positive form see
epsilon 3480), glossed with two substantive phrases. But the word occurs only in lexicography: here, in
Hesychius epsilon6853, and (according to Adler) in the
Ambrosian Lexicon. Richard Bentley (1662-1742) opined that the superlative should be
eu)hrotw/taton, but noted that with such a correction the entry would be out of alphabetical order.
