Besides lacking a gloss, the headword itself, transmitted as
eu)/dra, has been deemed faulty: other lexica have it as the (rare) adjective
eu)dranh/s. Theodoridis on
Photius s.v. suggests that this may be quoted from Cyril,
Glaphyra in Pentateuchum 3 (PG 69.497c):
plh\n o( no/mos ou)k eu)dranh/s.
Alternatively, a compressed form of
eu)/udra, neuter plural of the adjective
eu)/udros "well-watered" (attested in
Philo Judaeus and the geographer Dionysios).
