*)esfhko/wnto. kai\ *)esfhkw=sqai, dede/sqai. kai\ *)esfh/kwto, e)de/deto.
Note:
The (unglossed) primary headword is imperfect indicative middle/passive, third person plural, of sfhko/w. Glossed in the entry are the perfect middle/passive infinitive and the imperfect indicative middle/passive, third person singular. None but the last of these is attested outside lexicography (Heliodorus 3.3.2, Pamprepius fr. 3.162) in the forms given here. The headword, however, appears in an uncontracted form, and the corresponding contracted form e)sfh/kwnto occurs in numerous sources, including Homer, and is glossed similarly in scholia to Homer, Iliad 17.52, and Hesychius epsilon6439.
