[1] The gloss implies that the headword is an (otherwise unknown) adjective related to the noun e)rwh/ (epsilon 3063) and the verb e)rwe/w. Compare the scholia on Homer, Iliad 17.422, where the imperative e)rwei/tw occurs; also Hesychius s.v. e)rwh=sai and e)rw/ei. With different accentuation (e)rwei=s rather than e)rw/eis) and a different gloss, the headword could be second person singular, present indicative active, of e)rwe/w; cf. next note.
