The headword is imperfect active, first person singular or third person plural, of the late verb r(ogeu/w (on which see Lampe s.v., and cf. LSJ Supplement: 'r(ogeu/w, pay in kind, fr. Latin erogare'). It must be quoted from somewhere -- perhaps Constantine Porphyrogenitus, De cerimoniis aulae Byzantinae 807.17 (its only other attestation); if so it is the plural.
