If this unglossed headword is a (neuter) noun, it means either the upper storey of a skene sigma 569 (Vitruvius) or 'something brought on the the skene' (Hesychius s.v.). But it might be an adjective, meaning stage-y; LSJ s.v. notes an instance of this in Porphyry.
