Same or similar entry in other lexica, including Apollonius' Homeric Lexicon. The headword is imperfect middle, third person singular. As from deu/omai, a dialectal variant of de/omai, it occurs seven times in Homer (always in the formulaic phrase 'did not lack an equal feasting-share'); cf. the scholia to Homer, Iliad 1.468. However, 'got wet' glosses the imperfect middle of a different verb, deu/w (drench, soak); cf. delta 282.
