Translation: The Apostle said: "the saving grace of God was shown forth." For what reason did he not say "was shown," but "was shown forth"? Since [it is] Who Is[1] [who] "was shown." For if he had said "was shown," he would have introduced a beginning for the One who Exists Forever. And because of this he said "was shown forth," so that he might refer to the existence without a beginning. From these things it is necessary to perceive clearly, that the same Lord "was shown" and "was shown forth." For He "was shown" in the dispensation of His human incarnation, for He received a beginning. But He "was shown forth" in the power of His divine nature: for His existence is without a beginning. And he said "to all" to make manifest that it was not partially, but to all mankind.
