[Meaning] unlimited,[1] lawful.
*)enqumh/sion: a)/peiron, e)/nnomon.
Same entry in other lexica, though Latte brackets it in
Hesychius (epsilon3068) and Theodoridis is similarly suspicious of
Photius,
Lexicon epsilon951. What purports to be the headword is masculine accusative singular or neuter nominative/accusative singular of an otherwise unattested adjective related to the noun
e)nqu/mhsis (and cf.
epsilon 1370). However, Theodoridis indicates support for earlier scholars (Schmidt, Alberti) who regard the whole entry as a conflation of two others:
e)nqu/mion (glossed with
a)/poron =
epsilon 1373 here) and
e)/nqesmon (glossed with
e)/nnomon =
epsilon 1361 here).
