This headword, not independently attested, invites the assumption that it is quoted from somewhere. Perhaps it is -- but NB: Amos 8.5 LXX has e)mpolh/somen (i.e. future indicative, confirmed by patristic quotations of the verse), and some lexica have glosses appropriate to that.
