*deina\ me\n ou)=n, deina\ tara/ssomai sofo\s oi)wnoqe/tas, ou)/te dokou=nt' ou)/t' a)pofa/skonq': o(/ ti le/cw d' a)porw=: pe/tomai d' e)lpi/sin ou)/t' e)nqa/d' o(rw=n ou)/t' o)pi/sw. dokou=nta de\ kai\ a)pofa/skonta ou)/te pista\ ou)/te a)/pista.
Note:
[1] Sophocles, Oedipus Tyrannus 483-6 (web address 1), which reads tara/ssei ["he stirs up"] - the subject being Teiresias (tau 453) - for the lexicon's tara/ssomai ["I am stirred up"]. The participles might be understood as masculine accusative singular (agreeing with "me" understood) or as neuter accusative plural (agreeing with deina/). The sentence which follows in the gloss, adopting the latter interpretation, is from the scholia to line 485. See LSJ s.v. a)pofa/skw.
